****ANNOUNCING A NEW AND EXCLUSIVE

 MEMBERS-ONLY EVENT!****

 
Jacket Backers, Friends and Family Skate on the Main Ice - Rescheduled!!!
When: Thursday, February 12, 2009
6 – 8 pm
Where: On the main ice, of course!
 
Event is open to all current Jacket Backers, their friends and family.
It’s not too late to sign up for the club!
  Children welcome – this is a family-friendly event.
Skate rental will be provided for free.
If you already own skates, it’s fine to bring your own.
To reserve your spot, please RSVP to Jessica Jones at activities@jacketbackers.org
with a head count of those attending.
Please note how many adults and how many children.
 

- Skates and helmets will be provided to all participants, with no charge.

- Free parking will be provided in the attached garage at the north end of the building. This is the garage at the north end of Nationwide Arena. It is the only parking facility/lot that we have any control over, and the only place that we can get you free parking at. If you park anywhere else, you are on your own.

- When you enter the garage, take a ticket from the machine and bring it with you.

- Enter the building at the lobby of the Ice Haus (the practice facility). Do not go to the box office or any other Nationwide Arena entrance.

- Pick up your skates in the Ice Haus at the lobby front desk, but do not put them on there.

- You will then be directed into the Arena through the walkway between the two buildings.

- Chairs will be set up at the Zamboni area near the entrance to the ice. You will be able to put your skates on there.

- Please keep in mind, there will not be food nor refreshments provided at this event, and you can not bring your own food in. You can bring drinks. In other words, plan accordingly for eating before and after the event.

Game Watching Party

When: Friday, January 9, 2009

Where: Jefferson Country Club (7271 Jefferson Meadows Dr., Blacklick, OH 43004)

Time: 6:30pm - Pre-Game

          7:00pm - Drop of the Puck

Cost: $18.00 per person (paid the night of the event)

Food & Drinks: There will be a buffet included, items will include: Cheese & Vegetable Display, BBQ Chicken Wings, Mini Burgers, Chili with Fixings, Potato Salad, Chips, Pretzels, Tortilla Chips, Dips, Nacho Bar, Cookies, Brownies and Soft Drinks.  In addition, there will be a Cash Bar.

Additional Information: We will be in a private room with 3 flat screen TVs.  Jerseys allowed, Jeans okay, not preferred.

Directions:

From the West: take 670 East – Stay straight as 670 ends into Gahanna.  Stay straight through Old Gahanna (do not follow signs for 62 going to left on Mill Street), past Hamilton (Gahanna HS on Right – street is now Havens Corners) .  After crossing Hamilton, stay straight for 2+ miles to Reynoldsburg New Albany Road, take a right.  Within a quarter mile, you will turn Right at the Jefferson gate onto Jefferson Meadows drive.  That dead ends into parking lot at clubhouse.  Enter the Clubhouse (right hand entrance)  and you will be directed to Men’s Grill.

From the South: Take I-270 East (Wheeling) to Broad Street Exit, about two (2) miles North of I-70.  Go right (East) off the exit about two (2) miles to Reynoldsburg New-Albany Road and turn left.  Jefferson Meadows Drive is on the left side of the road, about two (2) miles North of Broad Street.

From the North: Take I-270 East to the Morse Road Exit.  Turn left (East) on Morse Road.  Drive approxiametely six (6) miles east to a 4 way stop (Morse Road and Reynoldsburg- New Albany Road).  Turn right (south) onto Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road and drive three (3) miles.  Jefferson Meadows Drive is on the right side of the road.
