"What started out as idle banter between teammates after the purchase of a very colorful pair of hockey gloves has gained serious momentum and the support of three hockey teams and some central Ohio celebrities and athletes," said Thom Wright, assistant captain, D Jets hockey.
"We are honored to be working with Thom and the Chiller Ice Rinks on this inaugural event," said Anna Cluxton, vice president, board of directors for the Young Survival Coalition. "Being a hockey fan myself, I am thrilled to see the sport I love being used to raise funds for young women and breast cancer."

About the Young Survival Coalition
Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the premier international organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women and breast cancer. YSC works with survivors, caregivers and the medical, research, advocacy and legislative communities to increase the quality and quantity of life for women diagnosed with breast cancer ages 40 and under. The Central Ohio Chapter was initially formed in 2002 by two young survivors who met at the Annual Conference, and officially affiliated with the YSC in 2005.
