It was June 23, 2001.  The Blue Jackets were participating in their 2nd ever NHL Draft.  Fans had gathered at the Arena Pub as Pascal Leclaire was selected with the 8th overall pick.  As the Jackets were getting ready for their 2nd season, the Jacket Backers were preparing for their first.  From a group of passionate fans who love hockey the official fan club was born.

To commemorate our 10th Anniversary, get your very own Limited Edition Pin for only $5.  All revenue generated from the sale of our pins will be donated to local charities.  Help us support local causes and show your Jacket Backers Pride.  Email treasurer@jacketbackers.org to purchase yours today.
