2011 - 2012 Memberships - Sign Up Early to Save and Win!

2011 - 12 Membership CardIt's that time of year again. All Jacket Backers memberships expire on August 31 and there is no time like the present to renew your membership or join the club for the first time. Our membership rates will remain the same again this year at $15 per individual membership and $25 per joint membership (2 adults). As an incentive to join early, we are offering our annual off-season discount of $5 if you sign up before the regular season home opener, so that will drop the price to only $10 per person.
Membership has its privileges! We keep our membership fees low so that Jacket Backers membership is a great value. We do our best to plan fun and varied events. Last season we were able to provide Game Watching Parties, Road Trips, Skating at Nationwide, Dinner with a CBJ Broadcaster, Behind-The-Scenes Arena Tours and more. In addition, we look for area merchants that will offer discounts to our members and hope to be adding new merchants this summer. Your joining early helps us to have an operating budget to make deposits and payments to plan these great events.
Membership helps the Community! We do our best to budget our events and raise additional money to help support various causes throughout the hockey world. A few of the causes we supported last season were: The Blue Jackets Foundation, The American Red Cross, Operation Feed, The Mid-Ohio Food Bank, Brewery District Browns Backers to benefit Capital Area Humane Society, The Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health (in memory of Luke Richardson's daughter Daron for suicide prevention), The Ryan Salmons Foundation. Your membership helps us support these fantastic causes.
Members Win Great Prizes! Need another reason to sign up early - how about a chance to win great prizes! All members that have paid on or before the Draft Day party on June 24th will be entered in a drawing to win a Team Signed Hockey Stick, a Kristian Huselius Photo and a Antoine Vermette Player Puck (3 separate winners - winners will be announced on Saturday June 25th.). All members that have taken advantage of our pre-season discount and paid before the start of the regular season will be entered in a drawing to win a Team Signed Mini Helmet - (winner will be announced shortly after the beginning of the regular season).
