At Nationwide Arena

Stop by the Jacket Backers Table at Every Home Game!

It is usually located behind section 116, near the escalator from the McConnell Street Entrance, but may be relocated on a game-by-game basis at the Jackets' request.  Feel free to stop by at any game with your questions, comments or just to see what is going on with the Jacket Backers.

Community Power Play

$2040 Raised in the 2016-2017 Season for The Blue Jackets Foundation #CommunityPowerPlay Goal!

The Jacket Backers will again team up with the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation to present our 3rd ANNUAL COMMUNITY POWER PLAY!!   For each Power Play Goal scored by the Blue Jackets, the Jacket Backers will make a donation to the Blue Jackets Foundation – and we’d love it if you’d join us and match!  Use the donation button below to show your support and Celebrate Life and Hockey.

For the first PP Goal scored in each game, we will donate $20 to the Foundation, for the second PP Goal we will donate $40 more, for the third PP Goal we will donate $60 more and so on. If a PP goal turns out to be our game winner, we will add another $100 to the Foundation.  Help us celebrate the joy of scoring more power play goals!

Party Towers are Great Fun! Jacket Backers Donate $400 to CBJ Foundation!

Stinger stops by the Party Tower and shows off our Team Signed Nashville Road Trip Sign. The Jacket Backers would like to extend a very heartfelt Thank You to The Blue Jackets for offering the Jacket Backers members the use of the Party Tower for the final preseason game against the Minnesota Wild.  It offered some of our members the rare opportunity to sit together and socialize during a home game that we don't often experience due to our season tickets and single game tickets being spread throughout the arena.  We had such demand for the experience that we ran a free lottery for the chance to share in this opportunity.

Many members gave their personal season tickets to friends and family who haven't often experienced a Jackets game in person so they could sit together with us in the tower.  We got to have a great evening in the Party Tower while immersing a few "rookies" in our regular seats.

We asked our members to make a suggested donation in exchange for the opportunity to sit together, and donated $400 to the CBJ Foundation during the evening.

What a wonderful time was had by all!  We especially enjoyed surprise visits by Stinger, Bill Davidge and Mike Todd.  We ran the evening somewhat like one of our normal game watching parties and gave members the chance to win varied CBJ and Jacket Backers prizes, including items we've purchased from the FSN Ohio Blue Line.

Thanks again to The Blue Jackets for your consideration in affording us the opportunity to share this experience with our membership.
