Stop by the Jacket Backers Table at Every Home Game!

It is usually located behind section 116, near the escalator from the McConnell Street Entrance, but may be relocated on a game-by-game basis at the Jackets' request.  Feel free to stop by at any game with your questions, comments or just to see what is going on with the Jacket Backers.

Community Power Play

$1760 YTD Raised in the 2017-2018 Season for The Blue Jackets Foundation #CommunityPowerPlay Goal!

$2620 Raised in the 2016-2017

The Jacket Backers will again team up with the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation to present our 3rd ANNUAL COMMUNITY POWER PLAY!!   For each Power Play Goal scored by the Blue Jackets, the Jacket Backers will make a donation to the Blue Jackets Foundation – and we’d love it if you’d join us and match!  Use the donation button below to show your support and Celebrate Life and Hockey.

For the first PP Goal scored in each game, we will donate $20 to the Foundation, for the second PP Goal we will donate $40 more, for the third PP Goal we will donate $60 more and so on. If a PP goal turns out to be our game winner, we will add another $100 to the Foundation.  Help us celebrate the joy of scoring more power play goals!

Early Travel Opportunities

Is it too early to begin planning your hockey road trips?

Of course not!!

The Jacket Backers have a couple of opportunities for early season group tickets, but we have to act fast to take advantage of these pre-sale offers.

To reserve your spot today and make payment arrangements, please contact Anne and Jeff Little at travel@jacketbackers.org.

Phoenix – Saturday, October 10 – 9 pm EST  (Tickets only)

OK.  This trip is for the hearty traveler.  Maybe someone with a lot of accumulated frequent flyer miles or someone trying to accumulate a few miles.  We have an opportunity to acquire group seats at a significant discount for this game.  This game is the Coyotes’ home opener.  Tickets would be $45 for lower bowl corner seats.  We need at least 15 people to secure these prices.  Your commitment with payment is needed by 9/15/09.  If we are unable to reach 15 interested travelers,  all money will be refunded.

Washington Capitals – Sunday, November 1 – 5 pm EST  (Tickets only – Potential Group Hotel)

This game would be the perfect ending to a weekend getaway in the Capitol City.  Tickets are available but going fast – we need your commitment with payment by 9/15/09.  Tickets are $110 for an upper level ticket, …BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!  Ticket pricing includes an all-inclusive pre-game buffet with alcoholic beverages and a Capitals Rally Towel and Hat.  Ok, so we know you’d rather have Jackets bonus items.  Think of these items as valuable souvenirs.  We need at least 15 to obtain the group pricing on the game.  If enough are interested, we will also look into lodging somewhere easily accessible on the Metro line with a group discount; we’d provide details on booking and you’re on your own for final arrangements and payment at the hotel.  If we are unable to reach 15 interested travelers, all money will be refunded.
