At Nationwide Arena

Stop by the Jacket Backers Table at Every Home Game!

It is usually located behind section 116, near the escalator from the McConnell Street Entrance, but may be relocated on a game-by-game basis at the Jackets' request.  Feel free to stop by at any game with your questions, comments or just to see what is going on with the Jacket Backers.

Community Power Play

$1760 YTD Raised in the 2017-2018 Season for The Blue Jackets Foundation #CommunityPowerPlay Goal!

$2620 Raised in the 2016-2017

The Jacket Backers will again team up with the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation to present our 3rd ANNUAL COMMUNITY POWER PLAY!!   For each Power Play Goal scored by the Blue Jackets, the Jacket Backers will make a donation to the Blue Jackets Foundation – and we’d love it if you’d join us and match!  Use the donation button below to show your support and Celebrate Life and Hockey.

For the first PP Goal scored in each game, we will donate $20 to the Foundation, for the second PP Goal we will donate $40 more, for the third PP Goal we will donate $60 more and so on. If a PP goal turns out to be our game winner, we will add another $100 to the Foundation.  Help us celebrate the joy of scoring more power play goals!

Travel Update

Buffalo - November 14

Pittsburgh - February 6

Buffalo - We have a block of 26 tickets purchased in Section 323.  Tickets are $66 for members and $86 for non members.  So far 10 of the tickets have sold and all of those 10 are planing to continue to Syracuse on Saturday to see the Syracuse Crunch battle the Chicago Wolves.  Let us know if you want to journey on to Syracuse so that we can get the proper number of tickets there.

Pittsburgh - We have a block of 40 tickets purchased in Section B31.  Tickets are $120 for members and $140 for non-members.  Tickets in Pittsburgh are a rare find, with pairs unavailable from the ticket office.  We have 30 people committed and 10 tickets remaining (yes we have had a few people drop out and a few others buy).  We have not yet worked on any lodging arrangements for Pittsburgh.

Contact Jeff or Anne Little at travel@jacketbackers.org to purchase your tickets or if you have any questions.

In Buffalo, many of us are planning on staying at the Adam's Mark that is an easy walk to the game.  They were unwilling to offer us a group rate but the best prices can be obtained directly through their website.  Currently $139 per night.  In Syracuse, we will be staying at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel.  They have offered us a group rate of $105 per night.  To receive this rate use the codes "cbjcbjg" - for a king room or "cbjcbjs" - for a room with 2 double beds.  Currently these rooms are $179 through Travelocity.
