Welcome Jacket Backers,
Tomorrow, the Jackets' quest for the Cup will begin. If you were able to watch any of the practices or attend any of the preseason games, you witnessed the most talented Jackets team to hit the ice.
It looks like we finally found a center for the Nash / Huselius line. Derick Brassard stepped up nicely to center our number one line. The three clicked on all cylinders. Speed, dead on passes and solid scoring opportunities highlighted this trio throughout the pre-season.
Defensively, not only do we push back, we FIGHT back even harder. It is good to see our team defend each other when they are on the ice.
Highlights from the preseason: We finished 4-3-1, scoring 28 goals while giving up 24. Our goals were spread throughout the entire team and not scored by the same players. John Moore scored a point in every game he played. Our power play looks improved with Derick Brassard playing the point. He keeps the puck moving and has a good vision of where everyone is located. He is able to thread the puck to the opposing net and creates plenty of scoring opportunities. One guy to watch for is Jakub Voracek. Last year he quietly became the third leading scorer among all rookies. This off-season he went to California and added about 10 to 15 more pounds to his body and it really shows. He is a beast on the ice. He protects the puck better on the offensive charge. He recovers quicker after taking a hard hit and he can deliver the big hit when needed. His speed does not appear affected by the added weight and best of all, he is not afraid to stand in front of the opposing goaltender when we are on the attack. I feel that Jakub is going to have a breakout year.
Before the season has even officially started, we have had a tremendous response of people joining our club. We are around 350 members strong and still growing. Let’s blow the roof off of Nationwide Arena on October 3rd and support our team!
Here’s to playing hockey in June

The Human heroine known only
The Human heroine known only as the Pizza Hut Girl was a slicer and martial arts expert from around the time of the Battle of Naboo.Prior to joining 1z0-051 the forces of Pizza Hut, she worked for Micro-Tech, Inc. as a "hardware tester" (a euphemism for "hacker"), and for 2-Rock 350-018 Concert Promotions as "crowd control." Her studies took her to such far-flung locales as Hong Kong and Tunisia. She was the youngest female graduate of the Citadel. At the age of 23, the Pizza Hut Girl found her true calling, allowing both her mastery of Tae Kwon Do 350-029 and her love for pizza to shine by working for Pizza Hut. There, she found herself allied with Harland Sanders and the Chihuahua in an effort to defeat the dark side at the Battle of Naboo.
Over the last few quarters,
Over the last few quarters, we have focused on reaching our international members and obtaining ideas on the construction business around the world. We also have been generating interest in our members participating in the IIE World Conference next year. This quarter, let’s continue to build on our momentum and collect your thoughts on mcpd becoming mentors to both seasoned professionals and students alike. We would like to hear from you regardless of your willingness to become a mentor or not. It is important that we share our knowledge and wisdom to others in our field in order for our field to survive.
Syracuse Crunch outdoor game
I am sure by now all you Blue Jacket fans have heard about the outdoor game that is going to happen in February. Hopefully the Jacket Backers can plan a trip to Syracuse again but this time for an outdoor game. The great thing about the game being played at the fair grounds is there is plenty of parking and is close to so many things that you can enjoy before and after the game. Get a hold of the Crunch early, I hear the tickets are selling very fast. Their number is 315-473-4444 which is the direct office line. Hope to see you all here!

P.S Finn you better come, I came last year with my friend Mike last St Pattys Day and drank your beer.
