Travel Plans are in the Works! - Preliminary Trip Dates

Many of you have been eagerly awaiting details on our road trip plans for this season.  As of right now, the current trips that are in the planning stages are:

Saturday, November 21 at Nashville - Tickets Only, Potential Hotel Discount

Saturday, December 26 at Detroit - Tickets Only, Potential Hotel Discount

Saturday, January 30 at St. Louis - Bus Trip including Ticket, Pregame Reception, Transportation to/from St. Louis, and Hotel, Potential Extras

Saturday, March 20 at Nashville - Tickets Only, Potential Hotel Discount

We are also considering a return trip to Cleveland to see the Lake Erie Monsters be crushed by the Syracuse Crunch.  Other trips may still yet be considered, depending on interest and ticket availability.

All of these trips are early in the planning stages and are subject to change.  We will be working quickly to determine prices and details, and will be accepting deposits soon so you can be sure to reserve your spot.  If you have questions or suggestions, feel free to leave a comment here, or contact travel@jacketbackers.org.

Come Cheer on the Jackets as they spoil the home opener of the Phoenix Coyotes.

Saturday @ 9:00 pm

Join the Jacket Backers at their first Game Watching Party of the New Season!

The RBar will be providing the big screen and great drink specials. The Jacket Backers will be providing door prizes and raffles throughout the game.  The puck drops at 9:00 but get there early to save your seat.  We will also be accepting contributions towards our Virtual Food Drive for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.  See you there!

Hockey Starts at Nationwide Arena Next Week

The Blue Jackets are offering paid Jacket Backer Members a pair of free tickets to one of three upcoming pre-season games.

Monday, Sept. 21 - Columbus vs. Minnesota - 7:00
Tuesday, Sept. 22 - Columbus vs. Boston - 7:00
Sunday, Sept. 27 - Columbus vs. Nashville - 5:00
 
To get your free tickets, contact Jessica Jones (activities@jacketbackers.org).  If you have not yet joined the club or renewed your membership, now is a great time to do so.  We are offering $5 off memberships through October 2nd.  All paid members as of October 2nd will be entered into a drawing for a team autographed jersey.  If necessary, you can finalize your 2009 - 2010 membership with Jessica when you get your tickets or click here to sign up online now.
